Kim has embellished her design with stunning Valdani perle cotton embroidery work, including simple stitched lace! For extra sparkle, glass seed beads are added for embellishment and edging!

PS I LOVE YOU STITCHING SCHOOL - January 2025:

Join Kim and Katie this January for Stitching School. Featuring Kim’s NEW design, P.S. I Love You, these FREE educational sessions are sure to increase your stitch portfolio while you learn from the best about wool applique! To stitch along with us, simply purchase the PDF pattern (emailed in installments for each class) and wool kit. Notion kit and threads available, too! In addition to the basics of wool applique, Kim will demonstrate her simple stitched lace technique, bead embellishment, embroidery stitches, and beaded edging. As always, our goal is to share everything you need to know to successfully complete the project.

HOW TO STITCH ALONG WITH US: 

PATTERN:  To receive the pattern simply purchase the PDF pattern on our website. You will then receive a new pattern portion each class day (sent by 9 am central). Printed pattern may be purchased and will ship complete on January 20.

SUPPLIES: We have created a stunning project kit featuring our Woolly Mammoth artisan dyed wools and glass seed beads for embellishing. Thread kit featuring 4 balls of Valdani #12 perle cotton, and a notions kit including many of the supplies we will be using are also available for purchase. 

EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS: Join Katie & Kim live each class day at 11:00 am CENTRAL, on our Granny’s Legacy Patterns Facebook page. During these educational sessions Kim and Katie will share their knowledge with you and show you everything you need to know to successfully complete your project.

CLASS SESSION SCHEDULE:

Hosted LIVE on our Granny’s Legacy Patterns Facebook page. Sessions will be saved on Facebook for you to catchup on if needed through March 1. At that time, educational videos will be removed.

Session #1: Wednesday, January 15 - 11:00 am, CENTRAL time.
Class Topics: Getting started, Press ‘n Seal design transfer and embroidery, preparing wool shapes.

Session #2: Friday, January 17 - 11:00 am, CENTRAL time.
Class Topics: Envelope stitching, stitched lace, and large beaded hearts.

Session #3: Monday, January 20 - 11:00 am, CENTRAL time.
Class Topics: Leaves, heart blossoms, and vine embellishing.

Session #4: Wednesday, January 22 - 11:00 am, CENTRAL time.
Class Topics: Finishing - Just in time to enjoy for Valentine’s Day!
