ABOUT THIS PROJECT: WILD VIOLETS is an adorable 8" Scalloped, wool applique mat featuring artisan dyed wool in bold wild violet colors, and simple embroidery. Finished project displays beautifully on our 8" rustic cheese box! This project is suitable for the beginning stitcher, yet still fun and rewarding for the experienced wool artist. Stitches used include blanket stitch, colonial knot (like a French knot), stem stitch, and lazy daisy. As always, if you are not comfortable with the colonial knot, a seed bead may be used instead. This is a fun project to stitch, and we just know you will love it!
