Verna – 11" Round Wool Appliqué Mat

Sweetly sophisticated and perfectly sized for display, Verna is a charming 11" round wool appliqué mat designed especially for our Spring Fling by our Granny's VIP group. This smaller project features softly shaped cutout edges and a serene, muted pastel palette that captures the gentle beauty of early spring.

A wreath of dimensional blossoms in soft pink, butter yellow, peachy orange, and periwinkle blue surrounds a deep black wool center. Each flower is carefully hand-embellished with glass seed beads and stitched with Valdani perle cotton, adding texture, shimmer, and heirloom detail. Fresh green leaves peek between the blooms, completing the delicate floral ring.

The open center is ideal for showcasing a candle, and the mat fits beautifully inside our square handmade cherry tray for a warm, polished presentation.

Petite in size but rich in detail, Verna is a lovely accent piece that brings a quiet touch of springtime elegance to any space.

PROJECT KIT WITH PATTERN: Includes pattern, artisan dyed woolens, black background wool and cotton fabric for backing.  Threads not included, but available individually.
